QBD-mini is the subcompact driver in the QBD-series. Main parameters/features are as follows:

  • Duplicates at its High-Voltage Output the external driving TTL signal
  • Up to 3.5kV output voltage
  • Up to 50 kHz Pulse Repetition Rate (depends on voltage)
  • <15 nsec (~10 nsec typ.) rise- and fall times
  • Compact OEM design (as small as 140x50x20 mm)

Product Description

QBU-mini-series consist of several Pockels Cell Drivers, designed for different output voltages (see also How to order? section), and ranging from 400V to 3.5 kV.
Modules have fast transition times in both directions, and duplicate at their HV Output the external driving TTL signal. As a result, they may be used in Q-switched lasers of push-up scheme, pull-down scheme, as well for mixed-type or another user-defined configuration.

Under conditions of appropriate forced air cooling, low load capacitance and low operating voltage modules may achieve performance up to 30 kHz (CW) or 50 kHz (in burst-mode).
