NBU-1012 discharge circuit is designed for simplification of solid-state laser systems development. Module forms flashlamp pulses of quasi-rectangular shape, using the energy stored in external capacitors bank. Module includes built-in flashlamp ignition circuit, simmer supply module, IGBT and its driver, protective circuitry, triggering, bleeding discharge resistors and controls.
NBU-1012 is a general-purpose discharge circuit. It forms on the flashlamp quasi-rectangular pulses with the characteristics as below:
- Flashlamp voltage – up to 1000 V
- Flashlamp current – up to 1000 A
- Pulse width – from 50 µsec to 100 msec
Please note that NBU-1012 isn’t a stand-alone solution. For proper operations it requires capacitor charging power supply (CCPS) and capacitor bank as well as some minor parts and controls (see also the picture below).
