Yttrium Aluminium Garnet (YAG)
Yttrium Aluminium Garnet (YAG) is a new substrate and optical material that can be used for UV and IR optics. It is useful for optical components in wide spectrum band from 250-5000 nm. The mechanical and chemical stability of YAG is similar to that of Sapphire, but YAG is not birefringent and can be polished to surface quality Scratch/Dig – 10/5.
Passive Glasses Laser Cavity Materials
S7000 is a clear, cerium-doped silicate glass used as a laser cavity material. It is also available to serve as a UV cut-off material. S7005 is a laser cavity material with 5 % doping of samarium oxide.
Fused Silica Cerium Doped
Cerium doped quartz is a clear fused quartz doped with cerium oxide. This material has significant applications in flashlamps for laser pumping. The UV cut off at approximately 380 nanometers ensures that harmful UV is eliminated from the pump chamber.
Doped quartz glass
Tube is made by two staged method from gas flamed doped transparent quartz glass. High quality rock crystal is a raw material for producing quartz glass tube. Depending on spectral characteristics the enterprise can manufacture the following doped quartz glasses: grade КЛБ (quartz doped colourless) absorbing in ultra-violet part of spectrum to 240-380 nm and grade КЛЖ (quartz doped yellow) absorbing in ultra violet and visible part of spectrum to 390-150 nm.
